Before installing the gunnels, we glassed the edges since they would be hard access once the gunwaleswent in. This was my first experience with fiberglassing of any kind but was only the beginning of the fiberglassing saga on the boat...

The night we installed the gunwales was a big one. Putting them on really brought out the beautiful shape of the boat, and it made Odo look like a 'real boat' for the first time...
When the work was done we took some well earned time to celebrate, sipping tequila and soaking it in.
